Another Yarnbombing Adventure!

I went on another successful yarnbombing adventure last night! I wasn't able to put up all of the pieces that I wanted to because there was an event going on downtown and I didn't want to be spotted.I got two pieces up though! The first one is on a lonely little pole that had long lost it's purpose in my neighborhood. Now it has a fuzzy little cozy. The second one it on one of the ugly rusty old bridges on the walking trail by my house that needed brightening up. Eventually I want to completely cover it in knit and crocheted pieces!

Happy Knitting!

Welcome!

If you have reached this blog you probably got it off one of my yarn bombing tags. woot! If you are a hater or public official that does like/understand yarnbombing I shall explain it more fully. Yarnbombing, Guerilla Knitting, Art of Knit and Crochet Graffiti, and yarn storming all mean the same thing. To cover a public space with a knit/crocheted piece (called a tag). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFmSFp2Kim8 The ladies in this video do an excellent job of explaining it. If you don't appreciate yarn bombing or the fact that I am just trying to make some boring old light poles cozy/more exciting then you are a very grumpy person and should stare at the bright colors of my knitted objects for a few hours to cheer you up! The picture featured in this post is of my very first tag! I have since put others up but have not yet taken any pictures of them. Happy Knitting!
